3D Modeling Ships (College Work)

I found this one of the most easiest things to model in Cinema 4D. Ships and planes are fun, and can be easily made by a single Cube. As soon as you make that cube editable by pressing the Edit Shape button () you can mould and stretch the shape by selecting different tools to do so and then place a Hyper NURB onto it to finish it.

The first time took a while to do, but when it was successful, it was nice to see what the Hyper NURB could do. Starting with a simple cube, I made it editable and stretched it out to make the basic body.

After stretching the object and making a perfect body to modify, I select the two longest sides and Extrude Inner, shrinking the inner side for a smaller selection.

After doing that, I decided to Extrude the shape selected to make wings, and continued to do so until I made an odd shape, then added colour onto the shape to see it perfectly.

Finally finished with the object its self, it was time to add the Hyper NURB onto the shape its self. The final thing looks much more better then a blocky object.
