I started off with a Text Spline which is in the Spline Selection Tool window;

Click and hold, select the Text Spline and then you can add your own words to make the spline;
As soon as it updates the spline with the words you want, you have to select the Extrude NURBS which you can get from the NURBS selection tool. From there you have to put the Text layer into the NURB layer, making this object full;
When you have done that, you could then fill the objects in with colours to make it match the scene and object around it. Another thing I used the Extude Nurbs on was a shape of a cloud I created with the Freehand Tool in the splines section.

Using information I had doing the shape play around, I made a bed out of cubes and spheres, changing their shapes and understanding how I could make them into a bed. Added Light to make the text and items show their true form as I render it completely.
